Jerry has been in the Automotive Business since he was 19. He put himself through the McMaster University Commerce Program while selling cars in the summer. After graduating from the Commerce program, he began his automotive career as an Assistant Sales Manager at a large GM dealership in Pickering Ontario and has never looked back. After several promotions and years of learning the business, he had the opportunity to purchase his own dealership, Jerry Pfeil Pontiac Buick GMC, in Owen Sound. So, in 1999, Jerry moved to Owen Sound with his wife and son and began his journey as a business owner. There have been many changes over the years, including switching to Mazda in 2010, but one thing has remained; Jerry's commitment to providing his clients with honest, and trustworthy advice in their search for their automotive needs. It has served him and his family well for over 18 years in Owen Sound, a town he now calls home. Mohana Pfeil is the wife of Dealer Principal Jerry Pfeil and his partner in everything he has accomplished in his business career and his personal life, for over 25 years. Mohana graduated from Western University and began a career in HR with Fujitsu Canada. After a number of years, she started her own consulting company focusing on SAP software training. After successfully managing that company for a number of years, Mohana and Jerry decided to move to Owen Sound to purchase Jerry Pfeil Pontiac Buick GMC. Fortunately, while Jerry focused on running the dealership, Mohana was able to focus on raising their 2 boys and providing them with the support they needed and often volunteered at their schools and with their sports teams for many years in Owen Sound. Once the boys were in their late teens, Mohana decided to re-enter the business world, opening an Adult Learning company called Grade Learning in Owen Sound. After successfully operating that business for 7 years, she decided it was time to close the center in favor of taking some time off. In 2019, Jerry invested in another dealership in New Hamburg ON, Jerry Pfeil Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Ltd. Given the amount of time that would be required of him at the new store 2 hours away, Mohana began to play a bigger role at the Mazda store. She took on the roll of VP Service Operations in July 2019, and can be found daily overseeing the Service Operations at Jerry Pfeil Mazda. With Mohana at the helm of the Service Operations, Jerry Pfeil Mazda has seen an increase in Customer and Employee Satisfaction as well as an increase in overall performance of the department. Paula, our Secretary Treasurer, is the longest standing employee of Jerry Pfeil. She has been Jerry's "right hand person" since he purchased Jerry Pfeil in 1999. She was actually here before Jerry, having worked for the previous owners of Jerry Pfeil in administration. Even keeled, hard working, strong silent type, Paula is a truly dedicated and loyal employee of Jerry Pfeil Mazda and we are lucky to have her. She supports everyone in their role at the dealership. Born and raised in Meaford Ontario herself, she wanted to raised her 3 beautiful children (Bruce, Janessa and Angela) in the area so they could experience all that Grey and Bruce Counties have to offer. For the last 15 years, she fondly calls Sam her "Partner in Crime" and enjoys spending time with him and her family & friends while away from work. He is married to Loretta for over 10 years and they have 3 children. Morgan is involved in local Minor Sports. He has coached Boys and Girls Hockey, and Baseball (Hardball).
